Let's get started together

                                                                 March 2018 till present

March of 2018 seems a long time ago on the one hand and just a few days ago on the other hand.

VCA has changed as the years have progressed.  Since that beginning, we have provided services on over 1400 vehicles belonging to veterans.

We could have helped more but we are currently limited by the number of volunteer mechanics and funds.   This statement is unchanged from when this website was first published.  Things are better in both cases.  We have a firm obligation from 4 qualified volunteers and they have provided yeoman service for the area veterans.  Additionally, through generous donations from a few donors, we have been able to add to our shop space and service capability.

If you live around Lincolnton, NC, and would like to volunteer, please fill out the contact form provided.

Let's be clear on where the money goes...

Funds are always an issue with non-profit organizations and I’m not going to try to tell you that VCA is more important than whatever organizations you make donations to.  I do ask that if you are looking for an organization that makes it possible for a veteran to drive to work, doctor's appointments, or perform other important tasks, please keep us in mind as a place to donate to.  I made this statement in the past but repeat it to emphasize its importance.  ALL DONATIONS ARE USED TO PURCHASE PARTS AND SOME REQUIRED SERVICES BEYOND OUR CAPABILITY EXCEPT DONATIONS THAT ARE EARMARKED BY THE DONOR FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES.   All infrastructure costs are paid by donations specifically made for purposes of items such as utility, phone service, and shop equipment as specifically directed by the donor. All costs associated with our parade car

VCA is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 charitable organization and as such your donations are deductible under that regulation.

We are a small organization, but everyone who I've talked to has thanked me for providing a needed service for veterans and that makes me want to go forward. All of the services we are providing to veterans are at no, or low, cost to them. We have been lucky enough to work with businesses that are generous with their products and hope to gather support from more businesses, both in funds and materials. But even with their help, meeting our goals will require your help. That is why we have included the donation button and we hope that you will see fit to help us help our veterans.
